As an aspiring Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology graduate from Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences (i3L), I am currently pursuing a PhD in the Whitney group at the Australian National University (ANU). With various experiences, ranging from E. coli permeability engineering at AIST Japan to collaborating on microbiome metabolic modelling with the University of Lausanne (UNIL), I am presently engaged in engineering CO2-fixing nanocompartments as part of a synthetic biology approach in replicating carbon-concentrating mechanisms and ultimately improve plant photosynthesis.
