Rubina Jibran
I am a researcher at The New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research Limited, Auckland. I completed my doctorate in plant biology from Massey University, Palmerston North, in 2014. For as long as I can remember, I have loved studying plants, and this passion grows every day. I am interested in understanding the molecular and genetic mechanisms underlying plant size, shape, and flowering. The plants that I have studied include apples, red raspberry, and liverworts. Besides this, I have a strong interest in studying how different metabolites are used in plant adaptation during varying environmental conditions.
