Professor of Genetics and Plant Breeding. Involved in the Development genetically improved cowpea varieties for the Nigerian farming system. Also involved in teaching both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students in the Faculty of Agriculture Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. I have released more than eight improved cowpea varieties in Nigeria.
