Presently, I am a Ph.D scholar at the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Department of Biological Sciences. My work focuses on understanding the response of heat shock proteins in Prosopis cineraria, a thermotolerant under abiotic stress conditions. I am keen to explore how stress conditions significantly alter the gene expression profile of this plant, as it is crucial for understanding underlying molecular mechanisms. Identifying and characterizing novel stress-responsive genes specific to this plant will help us to understand the pathway that can be targeted for manipulation to enhance stress resistance or response of economically important crops
