Robert Furbank
Bob has been a leader in establishment of Australia's plant phenomics infrastructure and was director of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Translational Photosynthesis. He has 40 years experience in “integrative plant biology” focusing on improving photosynthesis and carbon partitioning across scales in crops from molecular / synthetic biology to field phenotyping and phenome / genome biology.
