Paula Oyarce
Paula is a postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory of Plant Cell and Developmental Biology in KAUST. She obtained her PhD degree in Sciences: Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Ghent University, Belgium. Her research focused on engineering the lignin polymer to enhance biofuels production.
In 2022 she joined the PCDB lab, where she is characterizing and analyzing the function of the BIRD protein family members in tomato and their role modulating growth and defense.
