I am a postdoctoral researcher investigating the mechanisms of cell size regulation in Arabidopsis thaliana and Arabidopsis arenosa in Robert Sablowski's group at the John Innes Centre.
In A. thaliana, I am focused on understanding if DNA is the limiting reagent in determining cell size, in the stomatal lineage. Whereas my work with A. arenosa aims to unveil what genes have been selected during evolution that explain a smaller stomata size in a tetraploid compared to a diploid variety.
