Maxim D. Harding
Max Harding is a 3rd year PhD candidate at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience where he is an inaugural Global Challenges Scholarship recipient. He is a member of the Craik lab where his research is focused on combining protein nanotechnology and plant synthetic biology to produce new antimicrobial peptides in plants. Aside from plant-based production of therapeutic proteins, Max is also very passionate about the growing applications of plant molecular farming in the food industry and was fortunate enough to recently complete an industry internship at the plant biotech startup company Miruku.
