Pei Zhang
Zhang Pei is a postdoctor of Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan, China. She obtained her Ph.D. at Huazhong Agricultural University in 2022. Her primary research focus is on investigating the roles and mechanisms of circular RNAs (circRNAs) and small peptides in regulating plant responses to drought stress in maize and Arabidopsis thaliana. Through her studies, she aims to unravel the complex networks underlying plant tolerance to water scarcity, paving the way for the development of more resilient crop varieties under changing climate conditions.
