PhD Candidate, Plant Immunity Design Group, Okayama University, Institute of Plant Science and Resources
As a passionate researcher in the field of plant immunity, I am dedicated to unraveling the mysteries of plant-pathogen interactions to engineer novel solutions for sustainable agriculture. Currently pursuing my PhD within the Plant Immunity Design Group of Okayama University, my research focuses on understanding the intricate mechanisms underlying plant defense responses against pathogens. Currently I am studying rice immunity against Magnaporthe oryzae. I am particularly interested in understanding the functions of receptor like cytoplasmic kinases involved in pattern triggered immunity.
In addition to my research endeavors, I am deeply committed to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange within the scientific community. I have had the privilege of presenting my work at the Japanese Society of Plant Physiologists conference, where I have engaged with fellow researchers to share insights and explored new avenues for collaboration.
