MARIA FATIMA GROSSI-DE-SA
Maria Fatima Grossi-de-Sa is a Researcher at EMBRAPA Genetic Resources and Biotechnology and Professor of Plant Biotechnology at Catholic University of Brasília, in Brazil, is Coordinator of the National Institute of Science and Technology – INCT PlantStress Biotech at EMBRAPA and Director President of the Brazilian Society of Biotechnology. Her research has focused on molecular interactions of plants-pests, development of GM plants for tolerance/resistance to abiotic stress and biotic stresses, understanding the molecular mechanism of RNAi in insects, and plant genome editing using CRISPR/Cas technologies for drought tolerance and pest resistance.
