Antoine Bouet
Originating from France, I immersed myself in the captivating realm of pharmaceutical biochemistry throughout my academic journey. Working on my master's thesis at Sixfold, a pioneering start-up in RNA-based delivery systems, I explore innovative solutions to enhance RNA-based cancer therapeutic delivery systems at the Imperial College Hub in London.
This experience ignited my curiosity for the intricate world of RNA-guided processes within cells, specifically in plants where defense mechanisms and gene regulation are fundamental for application in agriculture.
Keen to explore further within this captivating domain, I decided to join the research lab of Nicolas Bologna for my Ph.D. There, I'm focusing my efforts on unraveling the mysteries of small RNA pathways in plants, driven by a desire to contribute to our understanding of fundamental plant biological processes and their potential applications.
