Natsuko I Kobayashi
Dr. Natsuko I. Kobayashi is an associate professor at Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Science, the University of Tokyo. Her research interests include abiotic stress response and mineral dynamics in plants. Recently, her research has focused on magnesium and sodium transporters, in particular, as the main targets of analysis. She is also focusing on the potassium nutrient in herbaceous plants and woody plants, in the context of environmental contamination by radiocaesium. She also works in radiation facility management at her institution and specializes in experimental techniques using radionuclides.
