Aymeric Pinon
With a deep passion for tackling challenges, I specialize in synthetic biology, mastering human, bacterial, plant cellular, and biomolecular engineering. I've honed these skills globally, working with diverse organizations and top-tier academic institutions. Most of my studies took place at the University of Louvain, complemented by an enriching experience at the prestigious EPFL in Switzerland. In my professional journey, I explored immunotherapy at iTeos Therapeutics in Belgium, designed a water purification prototype in Kibungo, Rwanda, and produced cannabinoids in probiotics in Australia. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD under the guidance of Prof. Hankamer at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience. My research focuses on using advanced molecular genetic techniques to optimize light-driven hydrogen production from water in microalgae, underscoring my dedication to pushing the boundaries of synthetic biology.
