Lennard Garcia-de Heer
I have a long interest in medicinal plant research, beginning during my Masters at the University of Melbourne developing tissue culture protocols for endangered species. I then began working in the Medicinal Cannabis industry in 2017, before starting a PhD project unpacking sex expression in Cannabis sativa at Southern Cross University in 2021. My current research focuses on using a transcriptomic approach to understand economically valuable traits and the development of F1-hybrid seed.
