VIBHA SRIVASTAVA
Vibha Srivastava is a professor in the Dept of Crop, Soil and Environmental Sciences, University of Arkansas, USA, where she teaches and conducts research on plant biotechnology, and related areas. She received her Ph.D. in Plant Biotechnology from JNU, New Delhi in 1991, and postdoctoral training at University of Florida and University of California-Berkeley. Her contributions in the field involve developing methods of targeted integration, marker gene excisions, and gene stacking. She also carries out gene function analysis for the basic understanding and identifying useful genes for crop improvement.
